Welcome to Dishani Online Academy ("we," "us," "our," or "the Academy"). By accessing our website, enrolling in any course, or using our services, you ("Student," "Parent," "Guardian," or "User") agree to be bound by these Terms & Services. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services. Dishani Online Academy is an online Quran education platform headquartered in Islamabad, Pakistan, offering one-on-one live classes in Quran Reading, Tajweed, Hifz (Memorization), and Islamic Studies to students worldwide.
These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Dishani Online Academy. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. It is your responsibility to review this page periodically for updates.
To enroll in any course, you must complete the registration form available on our website or provided by our admission team. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself (or your child). Each student requires a separate enrollment. Dishani Online Academy reserves the right to accept or reject any enrollment application at our sole discretion. Upon acceptance, you will receive a confirmation email with class schedule details, teacher assignment, and payment instructions.
We offer a free 3-day trial class for new students (except Basic plan). The trial is non-binding and allows you to experience our teaching methodology. No payment is required for the trial. However, continued enrollment beyond the trial period requires selection of a pricing plan and payment of the first month's fees.
Dishani Online Academy offers the following core courses: Quran Reading (Noorani Qaida), Advanced Tajweed, Hifz (Quran Memorization), and Islamic Studies (Aqidah, Fiqh, Seerah, Duas). Course descriptions, durations, and learning outcomes are provided on our Courses page. We reserve the right to modify curriculum content, teaching materials, or course structure to improve educational quality. Students will be notified of any significant changes that may affect their learning path.
Our courses are delivered through live one-on-one online sessions via Zoom, Google Meet, or our proprietary Learning Management System (LMS). Recordings of sessions may be provided at the teacher's discretion but are not guaranteed. Students are expected to attend classes on time and complete assigned homework. Progress reports are shared monthly (Basic plan) or weekly (Standard & Premium plans).
All fees are quoted in US Dollars ($) unless otherwise specified. We accept payments via credit/debit cards, PayPal, bank transfer, and mobile wallets (JazzCash, EasyPaisa for Pakistan). Monthly fees are due on or before the first day of each billing cycle. Late payments may result in suspension of classes until payment is received. Dishani Online Academy offers three pricing plans: Basic ($29/month), Standard ($49/month), and Premium ($79/month). Sibling discounts (15% off for 2+ children) and quarterly payment discounts (10% for 3 months upfront, 20% for 6 months upfront) are available.
Refund Policy: We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for the first month's fees if you are not satisfied with our service. To request a refund, you must notify us in writing within 7 days of your first paid class. After 7 days, no refunds will be issued for that month. For subsequent months, you may cancel your subscription at least 7 days before the next billing cycle to avoid being charged. No refunds are provided for partial months or unused classes. All discounts are applied at the time of payment and are non-transferable.
Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes. If you need to cancel or reschedule a class, you must notify your teacher or our support team at least 12 hours in advance. Late cancellations (less than 12 hours notice) will be counted as an attended class and cannot be rescheduled. For emergencies, please contact us directly. Dishani Online Academy reserves the right to cancel a class due to teacher unavailability, technical issues, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will reschedule the class at no additional cost.
If a student misses three consecutive classes without prior notice, we will attempt to contact you. If no response is received within 7 days, enrollment may be suspended. Reinstatement may require a reactivation fee. We understand that schedules can change; please communicate openly with your teacher to make necessary adjustments.
All students (and parents/guardians) agree to maintain a respectful, disciplined, and focused learning environment. The following behaviors are strictly prohibited: using offensive language, disruptive behavior during class, sharing login credentials with unauthorized persons, recording classes without permission, or engaging in any activity that violates Islamic ethical principles. Dishani Online Academy reserves the right to terminate enrollment immediately without refund for any violation of this code of conduct.
Students are responsible for having a stable internet connection, a functioning device (computer/tablet/smartphone), and a quiet learning space. We recommend using headphones with a microphone for better audio quality. Technical difficulties on the student's side that prevent class from proceeding may be counted as an attended class unless rescheduled with 12+ hours notice.
All course materials, including but not limited to lesson plans, worksheets, slide presentations, recordings, quizzes, and curriculum designs, are the exclusive intellectual property of Dishani Online Academy. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or share any of our materials without explicit written consent. Unauthorized sharing or selling of our content will result in immediate termination of enrollment and may lead to legal action. Students are granted a limited, non-transferable license to access course materials for personal educational use only.
The name "Dishani Online Academy," our logo, and all related branding are registered trademarks. Any unauthorized use is prohibited.
Dishani Online Academy respects your privacy. We collect personal information (name, contact details, payment information) solely for the purpose of providing our services. We do not sell or rent your data to third parties. We may share information with trusted service providers (e.g., payment processors, video conferencing platforms) strictly for operational purposes. We use industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your data. However, no online platform is 100% secure. By using our services, you acknowledge this inherent risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dishani Online Academy, its directors, employees, teachers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim related to these terms or our services shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the preceding three months.
We do not guarantee any specific learning outcome, as progress depends on individual effort, attendance, and aptitude. While we strive for excellence, we are not responsible for any spiritual or personal consequences resulting from the student's interpretation or application of Islamic teachings.
Either party may terminate the enrollment at any time. Students may cancel by providing written notice to our support team at least 7 days before the next billing cycle. Dishani Online Academy may terminate or suspend enrollment immediately if: (a) you violate any term of this agreement, (b) you fail to make timely payments, (c) we suspect fraudulent activity, or (d) we discontinue the course for which you are enrolled. Upon termination, access to our LMS and course materials will be revoked, and any outstanding fees become immediately due.
These Terms & Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of our services shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiations. If unresolved, the dispute shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Islamabad, Pakistan, in accordance with the Arbitration Act of Pakistan. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding. For international students, you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of Pakistan courts.
Force Majeure: Dishani Online Academy shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performance due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet outages, government actions, or pandemics.
Severability: If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement: These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Dishani Online Academy, superseding any prior agreements or understandings.
Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these terms shall not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.
